Children’s Classroom Shakeup
Entering the new year we decided to move around some of our
classrooms. The nursery has moved from the north end of the portable into the
church in the room closest to the front door. This will make it more convenient
for mothers with young babies to go back and forth between their young ones and
the service. The tree fort will still be used during the Wednesday night
programming being provided during men’s and women’s bible study times. The 2-5
room will remain where it is across the hall from the bathrooms. The main room
in the portable will be used for ages 6 through 10. Once our children turn 11
they will get to join youth pastors Zack
Gonzales and Matt Kmetz up front in the youth section. This will open up the
room that used to be the nursery for a church office. Please bear with us as we
work to make this transition as smooth and simple as possible for everyone
involved. Feel free to introduce yourself to Kayla Palmer, our new children’s
pastor, as she is working on improvements to the children’s ministry.
