We are looking for apples to be donated for our annual harvest party on September 3rd at 5:00pm

August 30th is Riverview's LAST Hot Summer Night! Hot Summer Nights has been Riverview's summer program that takes place at 6:30pm every Wednesday night at the church and is for the whole family. Be sure to attend!

Womens Retreat: Crazy Outfit and Hair

Yes you read that correctly! Women's Retreat is more than just getting away to read the bible, it's an opportunity to be YOU. To be silly, play games, make crafts, and grow closer together. There will be a crazy outfit/hair contest on August 27th(the last day of retreat) at 10:00am. With prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Let your inner child out and have a blast!

Riverview's Annual Harvest Party is right around the corner! It's on September 3rd at 5:00pm. The Harvest Party is such a unique and awesome experience. And an awesome way to kick off the fall season, there's  little bit of everything from making apple cider with a very cool cider press(bring your own apples if interested), pumpkin sling shot, face-painting, music, baptisms(see Pastor Rob Neuschwander or if you're a teen see Pastor Robbie Neal if interested), and just all around a good time. It's a potluck so bring some of your favorite fall dishes and deserts!

"As A Man Thinketh" Sermon Series By Pastor Rob Neuschwander

Pastor Rob Neuschwander has been preaching on a very big a much needed subject. He's challenging many common thinking errors in today's society with Gods word. His series is based off of
Proverbs 23:7
‘As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” 

The three thinking errors he will be covering in his next sermon are: 

1.) Filtering out the positive, we filter in some information while at the same time filter out the rest. "Tunnel vision" can occur, filtering out everything good because one negative event took place.

 2.) Labeling/Mislabeling
"I’m a loser"  “I’m good for nothing”  “I’m stupid”

3.) Personalization

Feelings of constant guilt, "everything is your fault" Often misreading social cues, comments, events, and other people

Youth Conference - Take This City

City conference is a great opportunity for middle school and high school students to gather together and get re-inspired and Ignited for Christ. Our theme for this year's conference is "Take This City." Conference will be packed with sermons, worship, breakout sessions, and opportunities to share questions and learn more about their awesome creator who loves them and has a purpose for them and their city.

Women's Retreat Aug. 25th - Aug. 27th 2017

Women's Retreat is a time to take a break from everyday life and grow in God and get closer with other women in the church. This is an amazing opportunity. Women get to be silly and make fun crafts, going hiking, and just get to enjoy each others company. 

Women's Retreat will be on August 25th through August 27th 2017.
