Last Friday night with Jordan Riley was awesome! At 6:00pm, the church was open for our regular Thirst event to all ages and was filled with meaningful prayer time and worship lead by RiverView's House Band. Then at 8:00pm, the place filled with middle school, high school, and college age people. Jordan Riley took the stage at 9:00pm and started with fun, upbeat music. He then went into his testimony and a message on the importance of following Jesus for a LIFETIME and not simply saying a commitment prayer one time. The evening ended with ten teens committing their lives to Christ for the first time.

Church Balcony Construction
As you may have noticed, the church balcony is under construction. The teenagers are painting murals and scriptures, Xbox's are being installed and linked together, picture collages are being made, new lights are being installed, and more. Construction will continue for a few weeks. Please feel free to check out the balcony area next time you're at the church and see the transformation happen.
The ultimate goal of the transformation is for teenagers to have a place in the church that is specifically theirs.

Men's Steak Out
All men are welcome to join us at the church this Saturday, September 10th at 5:00pm for our annual Steak Out. We'll have drinks and sides provided, just bring your own meat to throw on the grill. This event is always a well attended night so please come, get introduced to some guy friends, and have a night to hang out and eat meat.
Halloween Candy Has Hit the Shelves
Every year in Kalama on October 31st, first street is closed off and hundreds of kids dressed up for Halloween go shop to shop and trick or treat for candy. RiverView will have a booth downtown passing out candy and helium balloons to both serve the kids and make our presence known in the community. We will be sponsoring the balloons and helium but are asking the congregation to please get involved in bringing donations of candy bags anytime between now and October 30th to the church.
