New Ministry, Complete Fitness

We have multiple new ministries starting up as part of RiverView's Fall Back Into Church Month, one of which is Complete Fitness. Complete Fitness will occur every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-10:00am beginning September 8th. This will provide opportunity for previous gym trainer, Anja Shoun, to lead members to improved health. Mentally, this class will get your endorphin's up and help members prepare to face the day. Physically, it will help get members into better health. Spiritually, we're called to honor and taking care of the body God has given to each of us. Membership will be $30/month or $5 for drop in.

An Awesome Night at Thirst

WOW!!!! Thirst last Friday evening was SO great! That may be the fullest we've seen the building since RiverView came into ownership of it-not only were all our chairs spoken for, most of the standing room was taken as well. What a talented line up and awesome worship. God showed up in a mighty way!

Women's Retreat 2016

The women had a great weekend at the Christian Renewal Center all centered on Psalms 23. There were four sessions, Becky Neuschwander taught two focusing on us, the sheep and Denise Burck taught two focusing on God, the shepherd. On Saturday, the women had a morning session and an evening session. In between the two, they split up and some went into Silverton for shopping and lunch and some went hiking with a sack lunch. In the afternoon, the ladies made magnets with different words from the scripture. Sunday morning contained one more session before the ladies headed home with a renewed passion for and understanding of God. Click Here to View Album With Women's Retreat Photos.

Fall Back Into Church Month

The month of September is RiverView's Fall Back Into Church Month. We're inviting everyone to return from their busy summers, get back into church, and be involved in some of our fun mid-week ministries.

AA Meetings are at the church and are open to all

Ladies Bible Studies are at the church on Tuesdays at 10:30am lead by Becky Neuschwander

Ignite Youth Groups on Wednesday, grades 6-8 lead by Matt Kmetz & 9-12 lead by Zack Gonzales

Prime Time for ages 55+ Thursday mornings at 11:00am with potluck following, lead by Pastors Rob & Becky

Thirst live concerts and coffee house every Friday evening at 6:00pm at the church.

Pre-Service Prayer every Sunday morning

Sunday services at 9:15 & 11:15 with free warm breakfast available at 10:45am

Natasha Neuschwander coming to Kalama

Natasha Neuschwander, lead singer at Flat Irons Church in Colorado, also a member of the duo of Beat Frequency, seen on The Voice, Team Christina on Season 3 will be joining us at RiverView Church in concert on August 26th TOTALLY FREE!!! There is no cover charge, this will be a free concert, so spread the word and invite all! We will have our coffee shop Thirst open with outdoor and indoor seating available. New Album - When You Speak

RiverKids Fall Kick-off!!!

In September we'll be stepping up our children's ministry to incorporate all four of our classroom in anticipation of Fall Back to Church Month. Our fun lessons, interactive worship, exciting games, and crazy crafts all based on our relevant monthly themes will resume. We're looking for volunteers that are interested in teaching our children anywhere from one service a month to each Sunday. Our age groups will be ages 2-5, 6-8, and 9-12. If you are interested, please see our Children's Ministry Director, Miranda Olson.

Summer Camp Success!!!

What an amazing week filled with fun activities, great bonding time, and meaningful messages/worship. While most of the twenty teens that came with us to camp had already given their life to Christ, they all came home with a renewed fire to reach their town for Jesus!
